Say hello to an exciting initiative that finally made it out of the brainstorm session: The Keen Hub. If you know us, you know learning is in our DNA (we’re keen to learn, after all). Our internal training programme, the KeenAcademy, has been going strong for years — but it’s always been just for our Talent Partners. That got us thinking: what if we could open things up and create a space where everyone in our community could come together to learn, share, and grow?

Enter: the Keen Hub.

The launch

For the official launch back in mid-April, we kicked it off with a sold-out session, “A Pragmatic Approach to AI”, led by the one and only Alla Pavlova. She’s a true expert when it comes to sourcing and AI tooling — and she didn’t disappoint. More than 30 recruitment professionals joined us and together we got stuck into the world of AI: what’s hype, what’s helpful, and how to actually use these tools day-to-day. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by tech, but Alla broke it all down in a clear, engaging way that left everyone inspired (and way more confident).

This hands-on training wasn't just about showcasing shiny new tools (though there were plenty — from HeyGen and Napkin AI to Engage AI and Gamma). More importantly, it explored what AI can really do today, how to get started with it in a practical way, and what ethical considerations to keep top of mind. Attendees walked away with actionable tips (think: smarter prompting, sourcing shortcuts, inclusive JD checks, and note-taking tools that save hours), as well as a toolkit of AI applications to enhance sourcing, screening, interview preparation, and even video-based outreach.

And if that’s not enough, the training was hosted at our Amsterdam HQ in Jordaan, with a breakfast session format to kick off the morning feeling crisp and energised. We started with fresh coffee, pastries, and fruit, and wrapped up with some relaxed networking to connect and share ideas.
